MORE THAN A CHURCH

First Christian Church, a congregation in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, a community an hour north of the metropolis Nashville.  Our church offers members - and visitors - a chance to become part of something greater through our commitment to relationships, intentional education and reflection of scripture & theology, as well as ethical and dignity giving responses through our outreach in our community & beyond.

You will see this reflected in our mission statement:

We are making Disciples of Christ, by sharing God's love

through relationship, reflection, and response.

We are rooted in the stories of the Bible and believe worship is something that can be expressed in everything we do. Our philosophy is founded on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. No matter who you are, there’s a special place for you at our church. Get in touch today or come and visit us in person.

OUR CALLING

First Christian Church in Hopkinsville is an open, friendly community of believers in Jesus Christ who strive to love and serve God. We do that by helping families grow together in faith as well as reaching out to serve our neighbors in the larger community.

We would consider it an honor and privilege to welcome you to fellowship, worship, study, and serve together with us. Loving God with our hearts, souls, minds, and strength leads us to blessings of love, joy, peace and so much more.

We believe that God's love is built through relationship and that Jesus calls us each to each other in very messy and complicated union. We are striving each day to show up for each other through the good, the bad, the difficult, and the beautiful. We play together, eat together, worship together, grieve together, and look to the future together for what God is calling the church toward.
